An open brief to showcase the new ASOS AW footwear range. I wanted to create a series of simple yet distinctive shots. I really liked the idea of experimenting with ‘fake’ shadows and reflections. In the end I explored the idea of footstep shadows following the shoes around the image. These were simple paper cutouts, but when laid out and mixed with other colours gave a really striking result.
